Recycling Cars

Cars are almost a necessity in this day and age. Whether we need them to get from point A to point B, to go on road trips, and mostly to and from work; cars are expensive, cause most of the world’s pollution, and are full of parts and pieces that can easily be recycled with the right information.

If you think your car is on its way out of the world, and you don’t exactly want to fork out all that money for a car, it’s a great idea to go to your nearest car retailer and see if they do car exchange.
A car exchange is when you can return your car to its dealership, where it will be serviced and assessed, and then your dealer will either pay you for what it’s worth, or offer to give you a few thousand off your next car if you buy with them.
This is usually a great idea if your car is still in okay condition, and can help you save a lot of money in the long run.

If the make of your car is considered too old to be sold in whole, it is very common to take your car to a repairs shop, and offer to sell the parts in the car (provided of course, you have the correct documentation to prove it’s your car, and not stolen) for a set price. Some parts in the car fail more often than others, so you may even be able to barter the price up for certain parts provided they are well working, and in good aesthetic condition.

EBay is a popular choice with people wishing to sell their cars second hand. It’s easy, and a great idea if you’re looking to sell your car in an area close by.
This will save you costs to ship the car elsewhere, and if your car is perhaps a collectable, you can earn yourself a bit of extra cash!

Of course, if you’re just looking to get rid of your car and don’t want any extra money, the old cars can easily be taken to a car yard where they will be crushed and passed on to either a recycling plant, or to another car manufacturing plant where they may use the old metal for new cars. However, this is only occurring in a few countries in the world, but hopefully will become a regular occurrence world wide.

However, in terms of doing the best to save the world public transport, bikes and other small transport vehicles or even walking are going to be the best option.
Not only does walking give you exercise, but it gives you fresh air which is a benefit to your health.
Public transport drastically cuts down the amount of pollution being emitted into the atmosphere, by reducing the amount of cars that are on the road each day.

So next time you’re getting ready to go somewhere, like simply down to the shops, perhaps ponder if you could simply walk, and help save the air and the atmosphere.
